FREE RAMONA QUILT SHOW
If you missed the San Diego
Quilt Show, don’t despair the Ramona Back Country Quilters have a great little
show for you. If, on the other hand, you did get to the San Diego Show
downtown, then appreciate the difference! The Ramona show is free, parking is
free, and the snacks and lunch items are reasonably priced. And you can spend
the difference on---yes, fabric.
The fourteenth annual show will
be on Friday and Saturday, October 18 and 19, in the sanctuary at Mountain View
Community Church. The church is located at 1191 Meadowlark Way, (corner of Hwy.
78 and Ash Streets). The show hours are 10:00 to 4:00 both days.
There will be about one
hundred quilts beautifully displayed in an Autumn setting. Also, door prize
drawings about every hour; many vendors of fabric, gifts, and sewing supplies
will be there. The Crazy 9 Patch Quilt Store in Ramona will have a booth at the
show. Lunch and snack items will be on sale during the show. The members try to
outdo themselves making tasty food. This year they will also have the popular
Consignment Store.
Tickets will be sold for a
drawing on an Opportunity quilt. This year’s is a large vintage-looking Crazy
Quilt that was made by the members. The drawing for the quilt will be on
October 19, at 3:00 PM. (You need not be present to win.) Proceeds from the
drawing and show will go to Ramona Senior Center and Ramona children’s
charities.
Don’t miss it! See you
there.

Everyone was very engrossed in the demo |
Then for sharing in Sept Les brought the Threadcatcher he made after the demo:
