March 28,29,30,31 and April 4,5,6, and 7
There are 54 quilts and quilted items in the museum quilt show. I have been in Ramona 34 years and had never been to the museum. What a treat. There are several small buildings to go through and the building that houses the quilt show also has some beautiful old quilts made by Geneva Woodward or someone else in the Woodward family.
And then there are some modern examples of the old patterns:
And there were more quilts:
And there were quilted items as well as quilts:
And if that weren't enough, there was also Chicken Soup (pattern by Mary Lou Weidman who visited our blog and made a comment)
Couldn't have a show without the members to set-up/take-down, sell tickets and answer questions, and even demonstrate in costume.
Thanks to all who helped and donated quilts to show. If you haven't made it by-check it out. For a 5.00 entrance fee you will be thoroughly entertained! It is great advertisement for our October show.
