January 2014 Meeting and Minutes
Minutes:
In Remembrance: Judy Marsh left us to be with her Lord, Friday, January 10, 2014. She did beautiful work and was a lovely vibrant lady who added much to this world. May her family be hemmed in by the love of Christ at this time of sorrow. We will miss you, Judy!
A reminder to us that remain: We have the ability to stitch the quilt of our lives for which we want to be remembered . Let's make it a happy quilt with bright colors and vivid kindness-life is so very short.
Our love, prayers, and condolences go to her family, including one of our own, Sue Bucholtz, who was more of a twin than a cousin to Judy. They are listed in the Ramona Directory if you would like to send a card. I sent out Sue's address in a group e-mail earlier this week.
Sharing from January's meeting:
The quilt in the right front of this last picture is our 2014 opportunity quilt pieced and appliqued by many in the club and then quilted by Susie Johnson and out for binding and sleeve by Marilyn Hershey. It is a stunning quilt pattern by Vera Mosquera.
