There is a checkered border (2"squares) that hasn't been added yet
We had a great meeting to get ready for the quilt show that is quickly approaching.  We have just under 100 quilts to display, great food in the snack bar, vendors to purchase unique gift items, and the consignment store to buy affordable yardage, kits, patterns, etc. There are also tickets to buy for the beautiful gift baskets made up from donations from businesses in our town, and you still have an "opportunity" to buy opportunity tickets for the beautiful crazy quilt..

Remember all proceeds from the quilt show go back to charities in the community.

September 2013

September's meeting was a great get together.  The Crazy 9 Patch walls were bulging and we had a great demo by Emily Wyatt on rug hooking.

Benni did this amazing quilt on her embroidery machine-isn't it gorgeous?

Linda Secord went to the Jelly Roll Race at the library and this was the end result of her day-a quilt to benefit a Tom's Kids student at Ramona High

A UFO bag finished-beautiful!

Pat is sooo happy to finish this large quilt.  She got her picture in the Ramona Sentinal in an article written by Dot Koerner about the upcoming quilt Show.

I wish I could remember who is behind this quilt-I almost do-but not quite.  I do remember that it was a lovely warm quilt.

Decor for the quilt show
Cecelia's embroidery work-these are sooo cute.
